An evening event at the heart of Chablais pastoralism.
As our region is a land of transhumance and mountain pastures par excellence, the Maison du Fromage Abondance and the UNESCO Global Geopark of Chablais are joining forces to bring you a special event on 26 May 2026 at 7 pm at the Salle des fêtes in Abondance.

Organised as part of the International Year of Pastoralism and Pastures, this event invites you to take a fresh look at our mountains. Through a series of screenings and discussions with experts, we will explore together the deep-rooted history of our lands and the realities – sometimes harsh – of today’s agricultural world.

Join us to celebrate this living heritage and reflect together on the future of our mountain pastures. A unique opportunity to bring together science, passion and the local landscape.
