Guy Angelloz is an accomplished French musician and choral conductor, whose career has been marked by rigorous musical training and a series of prestigious awards.

Description

At an early age, he joined the choir school of Notre Dame de Paris, where he studied under Jehan Revert, the cathedral's choirmaster. These formative years included in-depth studies in singing, piano, flute and choral conducting, laying a solid foundation for his musical career.

At the age of 20, Guy Angelloz distinguished himself by entering the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, where he studied under the renowned flautist Jean-Pierre Rampal. He won three first prizes in harmony, chamber music and flute, all by unanimous decision.

His career continued with notable awards, including the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation Prize, the Victoires de la Musique, and recognition from the Georges Cziffra Foundation. As a flautist, he joined the Orchestre symphonique de la Garde Républicaine, one of France's most prestigious orchestras.

Alongside his performing career, Guy Angelloz has also made a name for himself as a teacher, notably at the Schola Cantorum and the École Normale de Musique de Paris. He conducts several choirs, including the Ecce Cantus choir in Neuilly, the C.N.P. choir in Paris, and the 16 ! choir in Paris.

Each year, he devotes himself to conducting major works for choir and orchestra, and is regularly invited to perform as a soloist in concerts in Europe, the United States and Japan, where he enjoys international recognition. His career is an example of musical excellence, combining the technical mastery and artistic sensitivity that have earned him an international reputation.
