A Queen in Our Mountains<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Sunday, August 3, 2025<\/strong>, will forever remain etched in the memory of Ch\u00e2tel\u2019s residents. Our resort had the immense honor of hosting the finish of the final stage of the Tour de France Femmes, highlighted by a brilliant victory from Pauline Ferrand-Pr\u00e9v\u00f4t. A powerful moment, filled with emotion, where sport, the mountains, and history came together. <\/p>\n

Under a clear sky and before a jubilant crowd, Pauline Ferrand-Pr\u00e9v\u00f4t crossed the finish line alone, wearing the yellow jersey she had secured a few days earlier. Launching her attack in the final kilometers of a demanding stage from Praz-sur-Arly to Ch\u00e2tel, the French rider showcased all her power and control. This 9th stage, stretching 124 kilometers and featuring legendary climbs such as the Joux Plane and the Corbier, became the stage for her domination. <\/p>\n

A Home Victory<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s a historic first: Pauline Ferrand-Pr\u00e9v\u00f4t becomes the first Frenchwoman to win the Tour de France Femmes, an achievement awaited for over three decades. And it is here, in Ch\u00e2tel, that this dream came true. Upon crossing the finish line, she collapsed, moved, into the arms of her team, while the cowbells and the cheers of the spectators echoed throughout the valley. <\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Ch\u00e2tel Celebrates<\/h3>\n

From the early hours of the morning, the resort was decked out in Tour colors. Fan zones, activities, stalls, music\u2026 the atmosphere was electric. Thousands of spectators from across the valley and neighboring Switzerland flocked to experience this unique event. The passage of the peloton, the breakaways, the cheers along the hairpins of the Bechigne\u2026 everything came together to make this day truly exceptional. <\/p>\n
