An easy recipe proposed by Eric Macchi
Ingredients

For 4 people:

♦ 6 potatoes
♦ 2 eggs
♦ 1 tablespoon flour
♦ Salt and pepper
♦ Chives
♦ Crème fraîche

Preparation

◊ Grate the raw potatoes, whisk the eggs and add them along with the salt, pepper and flour (sieve it first).

◊ Mix everything together thoroughly.

◊ Add a little oil to the frying pan.

◊ Using a tablespoon place portions of the mixture the size of your palm into the pan.

◊ Fry them in the pan until they are golden brown on both sides (about 3 minutes per side).

◊ Place them on a piece of kitchen roll to drain them off and remove any excess oil.

◊ Sprinkle them with chopped chives and accompany with crème fraîche.

 

Serve grandma’s potato fritters with a green salad. Bon appétit!
