Accessible ski area
In Châtel, skiers with disabilities and mobility-impaired, can use most of the skilifts with their equipment. Those who have no equipment are looked after by well trained and suitably equipped enthusiastic professionals.
Parking and access to lift ticket offices
- Ticket office at lake Vonnes : equipped office, 3 free parking spaces located opposite the office.
- Bottom of Petit-Châtel Slopes: 2 free parking spaces : 1 at road level + 1 at the intermediate level under the automatic cashiers.
- Bottom of Super-Châtel slopes: charged parking in the village and in the underground car park of the church square.
- Bottom of the Linga slopes: 2 free parking spaces on the downhill side of the chairlift car and direct access to the lift ticket office.
- Bottom of the Pierre-Longue slopes: equipped lift ticket office, 3 free parking spaces located towards the Pierre-Longue office.
- Bottom of the Pré-la-Joux slopes: 2 free parking spaces located near the Pré-la-Joux automatic cashiers .
Toilets and picnic rooms arranged on the ski area
- Pre-la-Joux: WC accessible on the side of Pierre-Longue’s lift ticket office.
- Plaine-Dranse: WC and picnic room accessible on the Plaine-Dranse site.
- Linga : WC and picnic room accessible at the arrival of the chairlift.
- Petit-Châtel: WC accessible in the car park.

Ski Passes
There are special rates for the Châtel Liberté and Portes du Soleil ski passes.
- Rates – 50% issued on presentation of a CMI invalidity card (CMI parking and CMI priority cards are not accepted) or a certificate of invalidity issued abroad stating the need for assistance. The same rate applies to the accompanying person.
- Rates – 20% issued on presentation of CMI parking or CMI priority cards or a certificate not mentioning the need for accompaniment. No reduction for the accompanying person.
These passes are only available at the ticket office.
