Lake Vonnes

Located in a magnificent setting on the edge of the forest with views of the mountains, it's the ideal place for a relaxing break.
The area around the lake is well laid out for strolling, with a 180m-long pedestrian bridge over the water!
Description
In summer, the lake can be explored on foot, by bike or with a pushchair....A children's playground, petanque area and picnic area with electric barbecue are available.
Fishing is also possible from mid-June to the end of September.
The lake is equipped with a water jet, a veritable giant fountain, rising to a height of 40 metres.
The lake is located 1km from the centre of the village towards Switzerland, and is easily accessible on foot, by car (on-site parking) and even by shuttle bus during the summer and winter seasons.
The actual lake has been created in 1974, with since, every year, extra works to improve its look. At the beginning of July 2000, a water spring is in operation. The fitting is made with concrete stabilized at the bed of the lake, at roughly 7 meters deep.
Some spots are installed around the force back pipe, allowing people to admire the equipment.
This water spring, real giant fountain, rise up to 40 meters. Located at the altitude of 1300m, it becomes the highest water spring of France...
