Chalet Wanderlust is in a quiet location just a 15-minute walk from the centre of the Châtel, a popular mountain resort in the Portes du Soleil ski domain. The shuttle bus stops just 100m from the door, and the Super Châtel lift is 1.5km away. The Super-Châtel/Barbossine and Linga/Pré la Joux/Plaine Dranse sectors that surround the village have 41 ski lifts and 45 slopes, providing plenty of scope for all ages and abilities.

When you arrive at Chalet Wanderlust, a semi-detached, two-storey chalet, you'll enter on the first floor, arriving in a spacious hall with a bench and storage for outdoor clothes. There is a WC on your right and a modern kitchen with all the equipment you need to cook delicious meals for your group, and a dishwasher to make the clearing-up easier.

A suspended wood-burning stove and a small step separate this area from the comfortable seating area, which is flooded with light from the full-height windows and doors to the balcony – step out and admire the incredible views of the valley, village and mountains. Back inside, you can relax together on the large sofa and chairs or perhaps watch a film on the TV. Children have their own place to relax – the games room on the mezzanine floor has a TV, games console and board games, as well as a large sofa bed and two small tables and chairs.

The bedrooms at Chalet Wanderlust are on the ground floor. There are two double bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room and access to the garden. Another room has a double bed with a single bunk over it, and the fourth bedroom has three single beds . There's also a bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower, and a separate WC. This floor also has a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer.

You will find a hot tub on the new terrace, which is built over part of the lawn, giving you one more reason to step outside and enjoy the garden and its views on the surrounding mountains. You will also find a garden table for 8 people, perfect for enjoying meals together on sunny days.
