Waste collection
Châtel town council is raising awareness of the need to sort waste among its residents and holidaymakers by developing a network of voluntary drop-off points in the village, to complement the services provided by the Pré la Joux waste collection center.
Description
The commune of Châtel provides voluntary drop-off points for waste sorting.
In the yellow bins :
> all packaging (except brown cardboard)
> paper, magazines, old newspapers and leaflets.
> plastic bottles
> cardboard bricks
In green bins:
> bottles
> glass jars and bottles.
Some points are also equipped with :
Brown cardboard bins only
Compost bins for organic waste only (except meat and bones).
And for the rest, such as filament bulbs, plastic objects, plastic pots and cutlery, crockery and china, broken mirrors and glass, put them in the grey household waste bins in closed bags or take them to the waste collection center.
